Temecula is one of Southern California's most dog-friendly wine regions. Here's where to go, what to know, and how to make a full day of it with your pup.
We've been running dog-friendly wine tours in Temecula since 2010. Most wineries here welcome leashed dogs on their patios and grounds — making it one of the best regions in California for a wine tasting day with your pup along for the ride.
Most Temecula wineries require dogs to be leashed at all times — both for your dog's safety and for the comfort of other guests.
Pack water, a collapsible bowl, and waste bags. Even at dog-friendly spots, it's courteous not to rely on the winery for supplies.
Some wineries have size restrictions. If you're bringing a big dog, a quick call ahead avoids any surprises when you arrive.
If a winery on your tour doesn't allow dogs inside, your Destination Drivers driver is happy to stay with your pup while you taste.
Policies change — we recommend calling ahead to confirm before your visit.
Home to an off-leash dog park in the rear section of the park. Dogs must be leashed on entry until you reach the designated off-leash area. Great for a midday break between wineries.
Separate fenced areas for small and large dogs, with three off-leash zones each. Benches, complimentary waste bags, and plenty of room to stretch out. One of the better-equipped dog parks in the valley.
Since 2010, we've been bringing dogs along for wine tours across California. Your driver rides in your vehicle, handles the navigation, and keeps an eye on your pup if a winery doesn't allow dogs inside. It's the easiest way to spend a full day tasting in Temecula without worrying about driving — or leaving your dog behind.
Call or book online — we're happy to answer questions before you reserve.
