Destination Drivers (“we”) is a California wine country designated driver referral service. This policy explains what personal information we collect through destinationdrivers.com and our bookings, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have.

Information we collect

Information you give us. When you book or contact us, we receive your name, phone number, email address, trip details (date, region, group size, pickup information) and anything else you tell us. Bookings are made through our booking provider, FareHarbor, which handles your payment details under its own privacy policy. We do not store card numbers.

Information collected automatically. When you visit the site, we and our partners may collect your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you view, how you arrived, and similar usage data, using cookies, pixels and similar technologies. We only load analytics and advertising tools after you accept them in our cookie banner.

How we use information

To confirm, schedule and run your trip, including assigning a driver and contacting you by call, text or email about your booking.
To answer questions and provide support.
To understand how the site is used and improve it.
To measure and carry out our marketing.
To meet legal obligations and protect our business.

Cookies, analytics and advertising partners

With your consent, this site uses:

Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics, which collect usage data such as pages viewed and approximate location, to help us understand site traffic.
Sojern, a travel advertising company, which receives data about your visit to support our marketing. Sojern’s tag also loads advertising tags from Meta (Facebook) and Google, which may receive the page you viewed and device identifiers.

If you decline, these tools do not load. The site also loads fonts from Google Fonts, which means Google receives your IP address when a page loads.

Under California law, sharing information with advertising partners for marketing may count as “sharing” personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. We do not sell personal information for money.

Our drivers, who receive the details they need to complete your trip.
Service providers that help us run the business, such as FareHarbor (bookings), Google (email, calendar, spreadsheets and analytics) and OpenPhone (text messaging).
Advertising and analytics partners listed above, only if you accept cookies.
Authorities or others when the law requires it.

Your choices and California rights

You can accept or reject analytics and advertising cookies in our banner, and change your choice at any time with the “Privacy choices” button on pages that use them, or change your cookie choices here. We treat a Global Privacy Control signal from your browser as a rejection.

If you live in California, you may ask us to tell you what personal information we hold about you, delete it, correct it, or stop sharing it for advertising. We will not treat you differently for exercising these rights. To make a request, email info@destinationdrivers.com. We may need to verify your identity before acting.

Text messages

If you give us your phone number for a booking, we may text you about that booking. Reply STOP to opt out of texts at any time. Message and data rates may apply.

Retention and security

We keep booking records as long as needed to run our business, handle disputes and meet legal and tax requirements, then delete or anonymize them. We use reasonable safeguards, but no system is completely secure.

Children

Our services are for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
