Dog-Friendly Wineries in Paso Robles

Paso Robles is one of the most dog-welcoming wine regions in California. Here are our 40 favorite spots — hand-picked from 15 years of touring the region.

By Destination Drivers · Updated 2026 · 8 min read

We've been running dog-friendly wine tours in Paso Robles since 2010. The region has well over 100 wineries that welcome dogs — what follows are our favorites, the ones that go out of their way to make the experience great for you and your pup.

Before You Go

Keep Your Dog Leashed

Most wineries require leashes at all times — for your dog's safety and for guests who may not be comfortable around dogs.

Bring Water & Snacks

Even at dog-friendly wineries, bring your own water and snacks. Feed and hydrate your dog away from the tasting area as a courtesy.

Call Ahead for Large Dogs

Some wineries have size restrictions. A quick call before you arrive avoids any surprises — especially for bigger breeds.

Your Driver Has You Covered

If a winery doesn't allow dogs inside, your Destination Drivers driver is happy to stay with your pup while you taste.
