How much does the service cost?
Our rates are $35 per hour for 1 to 5 persons, and $45 per hour for 6 to 10 guests. Larger groups can be arranged. Regardless, there is a three-hour minimum. The final charge does not include a gratuity.
Cost Effectiveness
A full eight hours with Destination Drivers is approximately one-tenth (1/10) the cost of just the fines and penalties for a first offense DUI without injury or property damage.
What does your service include?
We provide you and your group with complimentary water (staying hydrated will enhance the wine tasting experience). We open every door for you, will help carry your purchase, take pictures, and otherwise do our best to make your day special.
How does the insurance work?
By signing our agreement, you and your insurance company give our driver permission to drive your vehicle. Your insurance company becomes the primary if anything should happen with/to your vehicle during our driver's time with you. If you have a rental vehicle we arrange for the agency to list our driver as an additional driver on your rental agreement.
Can you arrange special tours, barrel tasting with wineries or other events?
Yes, we can assist with an itinerary based on your interests and objectives. We can also provide drivers for weddings, sporting events, concerts, dining out, etc.

To book a Destination Driver for anywhere in the Napa or Sonoma wine country call 707-293-8137. You can also book online using our reservation form below. Our rates: $35/hour for up to 6 people ($45/hour for 7-10), plus a discretionary gratuity. There is a four-hour minimum. Payment in cash is preferred ($5/hour more for credit cards). $100 will be charged for cancellations received less than 24 hours in advance.
You will be given a discounted rate for any car rented through Dollar or Thrifty if you book your rental through Destination Drivers. You can do that by adding the number CC1323 to the box marked Discount Code on our reservation form; then click the Dollar icon, go to the box marked Corporate (just above the Dollar Express box) and follow the instructions.
If you have a rental car, your Destination Driver must be added as an additional driver. The only companies that will allow us to do this for you are Hertz, Advantage, Alamo, National and Enterprise. There is no extra charge for this special arrangement with Destination Drivers.

Safe Wine Tasting
How does this work?
Our service is simple. You will be hiring a driver to transport you as you relax in your own vehicle. Our driver will meet you at your accommodations and take you on a private wine tour and/or the destination(s) of your own choosing.
How much does this cost?
Our rates are $35 per hour per vehicle with a 3 hour minimum. Up to six passengers is $35, credit card add $5/hour additional, seven to 10 is $45 cash or credit. You can extend the time with your driver for as long as you want. We can take you to dinner and safely return you to your accommodations. For drivers from a San Francisco accommodation, there is a $40 pick-up fee plus parking fees. Often the hotel will let us use your parking space at no additional charge.
Can your service arrange events, special wine tours or barrel tasting with wineries?
Yes, with advance notice, we are happy to arrange according to your discretion. Can we use a driver for other services like weddings, sporting events, concerts, etc.? Yes, with advance notice, we have several drivers available for those types of events.
What does your service include?
We supply you and your group with complimentary water. We offer to open every door for you, carry all your purchases, take pictures and promise to make your experience special.
Are we on a time schedule or limited to only visit certain destinations, events, or wineries?
No! Your schedule and destinations are yours to choose, for as long as you desire.

By signing our contract, your insurance company gives our driver permissive status to drive your vehicle. Your insurance company becomes the 'primary' if anything should happen to your vehicle. If you are driving a rental vehicle, our driver will accompany you to the local car rental office, to be added as a second driver on your rental contract.
